Fisherman can spend their time along the meandering tidal creeks catching ample fish, shrimp, and blue crabs. There is a long fishing pier that extends out hundreds of feet into the sea inlet on Hunting Island which is simply across the bridge from Fripp and yet another long fishing pier which extends from the other end of Fripp Island over in the direction of Pritchard's Island - which is uninhabited. There are 7 different swimming pools on the island. One of them which is heated year 'round at Veranda Beach overlooks the sea. There are eight soft and two hard surface tennis courts for your satisfaction as well as jogging, biking and roller blade trails, and scenic Audubon nature paths. You can additionally lease fishing boats, jet water skis, kayaks, golf carts, bicycles, mopeds, or book a chair on one of the regularly scheduled tour fishing boats for dolphin watching, shelling, and exploring!
